Adam von Haden defends PhD, transitions to post doctoral position at Univ. of Illinois
Congratulations to Adam! Hard to believe it’s time to say goodbye to another great scientist from our lab. Adam defended his PhD in mid-November and will start his post doctoral position at Illinois in the INSTITUTE FOR SUSTAINABILITY, ENERGY, AND ENVIRONMENT (iSEE), working with iSEE director Evan DeLucia and Prof. Wendy Yang. Adam has worked extremely hard the past 4+ years since arriving from UW-Green Bay where he completed his MS degree with Matt Dornbush. Many publications will come out of Adam’s work on carbon cycling in the GLBRC bioenergy cropping systems. We all wish him well as he starts his latest chapter in life. And, I’d like to personally thank Adam for his dedication to science and mentoring young scientists over the past several years. I see big things in the future for him, and he certainly has left a legacy here!
